Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 owners will also get 50GB of Dropbox storage
Although it’s probably not the most impressive feature of the Galaxy S3, the free 50 GB of Dropbox storage should make a lot of users happy, as it pretty much cancels any problems one might ever have with the device’s memory.
However, Samsung’s partnership with Dropbox, probably the most popular file hosting service around, seems to not be limited to the new flagship phone. As the below screenshot indicates, newly released Galaxy Tab 2 tablets will also come with 50 GB of Dropbox storage, free of charge, but available for only one year.
After the end of the special offer, you won’t be left completely hanging, as Dropbox will continue to offer Galaxy Tab 2 users a more modest 2 GB+ storage available for any free account, plus another 3 GB for your second year of using the tablet. The special offer runs for both the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0.
While not very impressive in terms of raw power, the tablet duo has managed to sell pretty well thanks mostly to the reasonable quality to price ratio. The 10-incher, going for around $400 these days on most online stores, is powered by a dual-core 1 GHz TI OMAP processor and features a 1280 x 800 pixels resolution screen, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of on-board memory, dual 3 MP/0.3 MP cameras and the running of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
