3D Imaging Camera from Apple will come soon
Apple has been suspiciously quiet when it comes to 3D. However, it’s now emerged that the Cupertino lab coats have been busily working away on three-dimensional technology that Apple claims will blow its rivals away.
Apple says its 3D camera will maintain more colour, while also boasting both face recognition and facial gesturing recognition, which will complement its retina displays found currently on the iPhone 4S and the new iPad.
What’s particularly interesting is that the 3D technology is supposedly being prepared for a variety of electronic devices, not just future iPhones, iPads and Apple computers. Could we be seeing a dedicated Apple camera in the near future?
Sadly there’s no word on when we might be able to witness this allegedly groundbreaking tech. However, the fact Apple patented the application in Q3 last year, coupled with these details that have emerged, we’re hopeful it might not be too long a wait.
