Uninstall Xcode from OS X Lion
If you’ve decided you no longer have a need for Xcode, here’s how to completely remove it from your Mac –
- Open a Terminal (located in your Applications -> Utilities folder) and enter the command:
- sudo /Developer/Library/uninstall-devtools –mode=all Enter your password when prompted.
- Now just sit and wait. The uninstallation process can take a few minutes to complete. Once it has, quit Terminal and you’re all done.
