Google posts YouTube app update for Google TV
Google has already posted a Google TV app update that brings several new YouTube features that the company detailed yesterday. The app has been refreshed to improve the overall experience, with a focus on content discovery through channel pages organized by category.
The company worked to streamline the channel subscription process, while making it easier to access related videos or content from the same user. Using the up or down arrows on the remote control enables users to give a video a thumbs up or add it to a playlist.
The company also promises enhanced performance, with faster operation overall and smoother navigation through the interface.
The YouTube update is available as a free download from the Android Market for all Google TV devices.
