BlackBerry PlayBook All Models Priced At $299

I was planning on getting the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet at a Boxing Day sale; it seemed like a good deal for $199 for the 16 GB version.  But after playing with it at the store, I decided not to buy it and instead got an Apple iPad 2.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m no Apple fan boy and the PlayBook is a pretty decent device but I was planning on using the tablet mostly for games and to keep my little niece entertained, so the iPad seemed like a good choice.  The PlayBook is better suited to business people and those who already own BlackBerry phones, in my opinion.

If you were planning on getting a PlayBook and missed out, now you have another great opportunity to snag one of these tablets at bargain-basement prices.  RIM is currently offering all PlayBooks for $299, this includes the 16 GB, 32 GB, and the 64 GB models.  You could potentially save $400 if you buy the 64 GB model.  The sale is on until February 4^th 2012, so you better hurry because I’m sure the 64 GB model will be the first to sell out and the website was crashing like crazy this morning.  So it seems there is quite a bit of demand for these BlackBerry devices but with deep discounts.
